Pre-analytical requirements in Body composition assessment

The interval in Body composition assessment depends on tube type and time to separation, neither of which the article mentions. It is the sort of omission that makes a reader think a result is wrong when the sample was simply handled differently. eGFR_Esme (talk) 01:11, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

Fair. The source specifies both and I had summarised them away. A1c_Alder (talk) 16:52, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

Pre-analytical requirements in Baseline laboratory panel

The interval in Baseline laboratory panel depends on tube type and time to separation, neither of which the article mentions. It is the sort of omission that makes a reader think a result is wrong when the sample was simply handled differently. ApoB_Aurelio (talk) 14:06, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

Agreed. I have put them next to the interval rather than in a separate section where nobody would connect them. A1c_Alder (talk) 07:48, 21 July 2025 (UTC)

Assay behind the interval in Body composition assessment

The reference interval in Body composition assessment is given bare. Since it is method-dependent, stating it without the assay makes it look more universal than it is. Do you have the method from the source, or should it be attributed to the laboratory that published it? SigFigSindri (talk) 08:51, 1 September 2025 (UTC)

Good question — the source does not state it, and the interval is now attributed to the publishing laboratory. A1c_Alder (talk) 06:50, 2 September 2025 (UTC)

Categorisation of Sharps disposal

Sharps disposal was in Category:Injection technique but not in its parent chain, so it was invisible from the topic portal. I have fixed it. If you are adding categories in bulk, Special:WantedPages lists the ones that are currently claimed by articles but have no page. StabilityStig (talk) 07:41, 12 November 2025 (UTC)

Appreciated. I had not realised a category could be claimed without existing in the tree. A1c_Alder (talk) 15:44, 12 November 2025 (UTC)

Units in the Baseline laboratory panel reference table

Baseline laboratory panel mixes conventional and SI units within one table and gives no conversion factor. Per Project:Manual of style both belong in the table with the factor stated once. I have added the second column; the factor should be checked by someone who uses it daily. DrTitration (talk) 13:39, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

Agreed. Both columns are now present and the factor is stated once in the caption. A1c_Alder (talk) 16:46, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
