Assay for the reference interval in Fasting insulin

In Fasting insulin the reference interval is given without the assay. Since the interval is method-dependent, stating it bare makes it look more universal than it is. The percentage given in Enteroendocrine L cell for the incretin effect varies considerably across the literature depending on the glucose load used.
