The dead-space paragraph in Insulin syringe

Adding dead space to the worked example in Insulin syringe closed a gap that had been quietly wrong for a year — the doses-per-vial figure had been assuming a syringe that loses nothing. Thank you for doing the arithmetic rather than trusting the old number. GramsNotUnitsGil (talk) 13:31, 18 August 2025 (UTC)

Thank you. I have added the assumption explicitly so the next person does not have to reverse-engineer it. BacWaterBarnaby (talk) 02:09, 20 August 2025 (UTC)

Guidance wording in Syringe dead space

A sentence in Syringe dead space instructs rather than describes. This wiki documents what is done and by whom; it does not tell a reader what to do, and on this subject in particular the difference is the whole of the medical disclaimer. I have rephrased it in the descriptive voice. SharpsSukhi (talk) 10:05, 24 February 2026 (UTC)

You are right. On this subject in particular the line between describing and instructing has to be visible. BacWaterBarnaby (talk) 21:36, 25 February 2026 (UTC)

Fair. I have gone through the rest of the section and found two more sentences doing the same thing. BacWaterBarnaby (talk) 11:37, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
