Thank you for the work on HOMA-IR
Just to say that HOMA-IR is substantially better than it was a month ago. The restructuring you did says in two sections what four were failing to say. — UACR_Ulric (talk) 08:44, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
Thank you. Most of it was moving material that was already there into an order that made sense of it. — BaselineBex (talk) 02:11, 20 April 2025 (UTC)
Assay behind the interval in Haemoglobin A1c
The reference interval in Haemoglobin A1c is given bare. Since it is method-dependent, stating it without the assay makes it look more universal than it is. Do you have the method from the source, or should it be attributed to the laboratory that published it? — SharpsSukhi (talk) 19:16, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
The method is in the source and I have added it. The interval shifts noticeably between platforms. — BaselineBex (talk) 17:23, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
Pre-analytical requirements in Haemoglobin A1c
The interval in Haemoglobin A1c depends on tube type and time to separation, neither of which the article mentions. It is the sort of omission that makes a reader think a result is wrong when the sample was simply handled differently. — B12_Bettina (talk) 14:26, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
Added — tube type, time to separation and storage. You are right that it is the usual explanation for a surprising result. — BaselineBex (talk) 17:10, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
Units in the C-peptide reference table
C-peptide mixes conventional and SI units within one table and gives no conversion factor. Per Project:Manual of style both belong in the table with the factor stated once. I have added the second column; the factor should be checked by someone who uses it daily. — EndotoxinEd (talk) 01:22, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
Thank you. The factor is right — I have checked it against the molar mass rather than against another article. — BaselineBex (talk) 16:23, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
